This is one of my most favorite recipes ever!
After divorcing a friend who was no longer good for me to be around, this cake SAVED me!!
1 Dark Chocolate Cake Mix (Bake per instructions)
1 Small Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Jar of Caramel Ice Cream Topping
3 Cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Cup of Sugar (for Whipping Cream)
Heath Bar Baking Bits
Chocolate Chips (Chunks, Miniature, or Regular)
Pre-heat the oven to 350º
Cook cake as per directions on the box.
While cake is still warm, use the handle of a kitchen utensil (wooden spoon, etc) to poke holes in the cake.
Pour sweetened condensed milk into the holes and smooth with a knife.
Pour caramel sauce over the entire cake.
Cover with tin foil and let cake sit over night to absorb caramel and milk.
Beat heaving whipping cream until thick.
Ice the cake with the whipping cream.
Sprinkle top of cake with chocolate chunks and Heath bar baking bits.
Cut and serve (or just grab a fork and eat it directly from the pan!)
